Our operations span the entire lifecycle of timber, including:

• Timber Management & Harvesting: Stoltzfus offers expert forest stewardship and responsible timber harvesting, ensuring long-term health and productivity of woodlands. Our foresters work closely with landowners to develop harvesting plans that balance ecological care with economic return.
• Sawmill Operations: At the heart of the facility is a modern sawmill where raw logs are transformed into precision-cut lumber. The mill processes a variety of Appalachian hardwoods, including seven key species used in their lumber line.
• Kiln Drying & KD Lumber Distribution: Stoltzfus operates advanced dry kilns to produce kiln-dried (KD) lumber, which is then distributed to wholesalers, builders, and manufacturers. Our drying process ensures stability, durability, and quality in every board.
• Mulch Production: By recycling wood byproducts, Stoltzfus produces premium mulch for landscaping and agricultural use, contributing to a zero-waste approach.
